In America, millions of Americans will complete their tax returns in April 2023. One way that we can figure out what bracket we are in and what we will owe is to review the IRS tables for Single/Unmarried and Married Filing Jointly folks. Best to look at what your income is and then calculate how much additional percentage you will owe. The best case scenario is that you are minimizing your tax burden by maxing out your 401K as well as saving as much as possible in a HSA (Health Savings Account), and contributing the max to your Roth IRA each year if possible (although the Roth won’t help with with tax until later in life).
